Circle Theatre Illustrated Memory Book

To understand
the role that Summer Circle Theatre has had in the life of this community
requires more than knowledge of the plays that have been performed
in the last forty years. Even press clippings are limited in their
ability to present the "life" of an organization. In an
attempt to gain a deeper awareness and understanding of SCT and to
demonstrate the importance of SCT on campus and in the community,
donors and
former participants in SCT were asked to share their memories. This
Memory Book is an attempt to chronicle those memories; in the process
of doing so important dates, times, places, and people emerge revealing
the "real" SCT. We hope
you enjoy reading this first edition and consider sharing your memories
in what I hope becomes an ongoing collection of historically important
memories. May Summer Circle Theatre remain alive and vibrant for many
years to come. My thanks to those who contributed their thoughts and stories to this book.
