Winterset, Maxwell Anderson's exploration of the Sacco-Vanzetti case, is told from the perspective of an imaginary son who has sworn to find the truth about his father and the murder trial that resulted in his execution. Directed by Frank Rutledge, Winterset is a play rich in language, ideas of social justice and idealistic love.
